We Are An Equipping Church

An Equipping Church lives out the biblical calling from Ephesians 4:11 - 13 (NIV) Image
11It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,
12to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up
13until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

An Equipping Ministry Is Where:
▪ People will be prepared, connected and equipped for
  service unto God,

▪ Pastors and people ministering together,

▪ Leaders are primarily equippers, not doers,

▪ Develops intentional pathways for growing and developing people,

▪ Equipping Ministry will move you from sitting to serving!

▪ An Equipping Ministry goes beyond volunteer mobilization or recruitment, and truly value
every member as a minister, living out their unique God-ordained role as part of the
  Priesthood of all Believers.

Core Values of Equipping Ministry
▪ Prayer - leaders rely on prayer to see God in all aspects of their ministry.

▪ Priesthood of all Believers and the vision of the church as contained in Ephesians 4
  - every member in the body of Christ is gifted and called into ministry.

▪ Servant Leadership - leaders demonstrate care of people and equip others to use their
gifts in the body of Christ.

▪ Team Ministry - individuality of gifts, team accountability and willingness of people to work
for the good of everyone is important.

▪ Intentionality - the local fellowship embraces equipping as a value and models it through
the intentional systems of preparing, connecting and equipping people.
